Inventory is Dwindling In Hernando County - Not Too Many Left
July 25, 2011

As a realtors in Hernando County, one of the first things Julie and I do in the morning, is check the number of available listings.  They are dwindling.  For the first time, I saw the number go below 2000 homes.  If my recollection is correct, when the market was falling, we had close to 3000 and when the market was in a selling frenzy, there were about 1500.

The reason inventory is low is two-fold.  First, the prices and interest rates are at an historic low, and everyone knows it's time to move!  The second is the banks are supposedly holding back foreclosure homes.

If you are looking for a home in Spring Hill, Weeki Wachee or Brooksville, call a realtor today!
